KNOWING THE TRUTH-
NOT MANUFACTURING IT

It is important to remember that the Truth is true because it is true---not because we make it so. When we pray scientifically, we are reminding ourselves of and realizing better the Truth as it exists in reality.
Prayer does change things for us, but it changes them by tuning us in to the eternal Truth. It does not change the Truth itself. When we tune our radio into the right station we get the program that we want, but we do not change the program by so doing.
It is very helpful to remind yourself that the Truth is true whether you demonstrate it or not. If you were demonstrating one hundred percent in every phase of your life, it would be delightful for you, but the Truth would not be anymore true because of that. If you were not demonstrating at all, if you never could make a single demonstration in your whole life, the Truth would just as true notwithstanding.
The law of Absolute Being is perfect eternal unchangeable harmony, and to this with some degree of conviction is the way out of difficulty.
