-Will, Part 2- The Best News You Could Have

The essence of our lesson today starts from the eternal truth: You are the Will of God.
When fully understood, this is the most powerful message of love and union I can give you. Last week I talked about our highest will being that when we are in full alignment with God. There’s more to add to this, particularly when you consider there is no time when we are not in alignment with God’s will. The question we might ask is “Are we consciously aware of this?”
I am the Will of God. In reading this, I invite you now to take a moment of quiet, and inwardly affirm this for yourself. Three times, as you let this soak in. Thank you. I want to emphasize this; I long for each of you to know this is your eternal truth. No matter what else you think or you say, you are the Will of God. Always.
So let me ask you now, what does this mean to you? To me, this means you are safe, you are holy, you are trusted, you have the potential to be the fully aware of God’s Presence in you. It means you are eternal.
Ultimately, to me, this means we are here to undo every belief we have that we are not the Will of God, or that the Christ Mind is not our reality. And it is through our applying our will that we learn what works and what has not worked for us.
Now let us look at how this plays out. From last week, you might remember my point that there is nothing you do that does not occur without your will. Your will is the driver in what is unfolding in your life. From what you had for breakfast, to what you do in your career or for fun, to who you spend time with, to your choice as to how you would strive to experience love in this world.
Charles Fillmore describes Will as one of the 12 powers of Man. He refers to Will as the “executive power of man,” the decision maker. Can you see how that fits in your life? Your will applies how you are going to perceive a matter, how you are going to react to a matter, or someone.
Fillmore also speaks of substance: all the potential to create available to you through your application of your will. That substance is God power. You have this power, it has been at play through your entire life, whether or not you’re aware of this. You have been using your will to mold your life, your ideas. It merely is, and it is waiting for you, Will of God, to make manifest that which you will. You have the license to manifest that Substance, and you will, according to your belief.
Think of Henry Ford’s quote: “A man believes he can do something, or a man believes he can’t do something. Either way, he’s right.” Here is Will playing out.
Whatever you have willed, or molded in your life, is the result of your applying your will toward this substance. Whether or not you liked the results, you have been in the driver’s seat, as this has been the function of your will. Your God-Created power has produced the results you have experienced.
Let’s move on to the next aspect of this equation: that of Divine Order. Charles Fillmore states:
Divine order--Order is the first law of the universe. Indeed, there could be no universe unless its various parts were kept in perfect order. The facts of Spirit are of spiritual character and, when understood in their right relation, they are orderly. Orderliness is law and is the test of true science.
You are God’s Divine Creation, you are God’s Will, and Divine Order is at play in your life. As God’s creation, you are granted Free Will! That free will is your opportunity to choose what you will have in your life; what you will pursue at any time. So HAVE AT IT! Go for whatever it is you think will bring you happiness. Divine Order’s message is you are God’s Will, God’s creation! Divine Order declares you are on your path of awakening to your Divine Truth: you are the extension of God. You are free to pursue whatever you Will to, at whatever time.
IT IS GUARANTEED YOU WILL FIND YOUR WAY HOME TO GOD, BECAUSE REGARDLESS OF WHAT YOU THINK, YOU HAVE NEVER LEFT. You’ve only thought you were apart from God.
So what does this mean in our lives? All beliefs in anything but God’s Love are yours to choose. And like the Prodigal Son, which each one of us is, sooner or later, we reach a point of a turnaround in our consciousness; a turnaround that will bring us home. The Divine Order unfolding in your life is your awakening to a direction that brings you your consciousness of love; your awareness of your Oneness with God and all of creation. Forgiving those mistakes that detract us from God, those paths that have not worked for us become our means of realizing how safe and how loved we are, for all of eternity.
This is what our teacher, Jesus, awakened to in his line, “I and my Father are One.” The Divine Order in your life is your awakening to this truth, and it is guaranteed!
I looked for the lesson on Will in Joel S. Goldsmith’s work, and did not find the word Will once in his writing. Instead, what I found was this notion imbedded in one concept, one expression: His entire Will, his entire teaching is focused on the ONE essential message: His will to know God. For him, that’s all there is.
From the Bible we’ve read: Seek ye first the Kingdom of God, ask and all will be given unto you. Let’s put some power into this statement, with the change of one word: WILL YE FIRST THE KINGDOM OF GOD. With this change, we are claiming our power, our choice. This is our means to acknowledge and accept all the power that is ours.
A line from A Course in Miracles speaks to the notion of our individualized will and Divine Order, playing out in our lives. From the last section of the book, we read:
Trials are but lessons that you failed to learn presented once again, so where you made a faulty choice before you now can make a better one, and thus escape all pain that what you chose before has brought to you. In every difficulty, all distress, and each perplexity Christ calls to you and gently says, “My brother, choose again.” He would not leave one source of pain unhealed, nor any image left to veil the truth.
“My brother, my sister, choose once again.” Our lives are filled with choices we have made that did not bring us joy. For each of these, there is a different way of seeing that matter. Whatever in your life is causing you pain, separate, isolation or fear, now becomes your curriculum to awaken. Divine Order guarantees you will find the way, the means for your will to play out, to awaken you to God within you-after all, YOU ARE THE WILL OF GOD.
Whatever choice you make or pursue, you are eternally safe, you are eternally home in God. Utilizing your Will towards being open to the Christ within you is simply a much more successful route. Have you had enough upset in your life? You’re being willing to be open to your will, fully in alignment with God, is your journey to Grace. Why not choose it today? This is the best news you could have.
This speaks to the natural divinity of you, and of your oneness with God. You’ve been given all the free will you need to know of your life and it feeds into the Divine Order that is yours; the Divine Order to fully awaken to the Christ that is your True reality your Oneness with God. Celebrate, because your divine path is being revealed to you, every moment of every day.
