-God is All in All

We’ve covered a lot of ground over these weeks. Today’s lesson is a culmination of this study with don Miguel. And ultimately it is. For the message we’ll consider today speaks to the destination, that of being fully awakened, and living from this state of knowing that don Miguel speaks of.
This is not the knowledge that we have focused on in don Miguel’s our earlier teachings. You might recall, we spent a lot of time questioning the teaching we provided our self when listening to that incessant voice in our head, and perpetuating the development of our individual story. We have made up this story based on our ego based thought system. While don Miguel referred to the ego quite infrequently, this is the essence of the voice we’ve listened to, and used to develop our means of walking this life. Boldly, yet continuously he’s pointed out this life is a dream, and we are the dream makers.
We’ve done our best; or stated more appropriately, we’ve done our best with the information we have, the system we’ve stepped into, and furthered. Yet it’s come up short. For we have not experienced the sense of love and wholeness, the Oneness with God, that is our true reality.
The true knowing don Miguel is referring to is the knowing that is derived from our willingness to rely on the Voice within. I am going to call this the Holy Spirit, a term more familiar to us. This is the Voice for God, the Voice of our Oneness.
This is the Voice that provides the deepest truth to any matter we are considering; any matter within our life we are dealing with. It is the Voice, the Comforter Jesus had said he would leave with us.
- The Voice providing the highest good for you, and all whom you are involved with in any matter.
- The Voice that teaches you to see one another with Love, with compassion, with respect. For you will never see yourself in any way other than the way you see others.
- The Voice through which you are guided to the peace, the fullness, and the wisdom that is yours, as One with God, and One with all of Creation.
- The Voice that teaches you to forgive: to forgive all mistakes of the past, to forgive the stories you tell yourself of the Past.
- The Voice that provides you the Wisdom to live life detached, yet happy and fully One with all.
Don Miguel is introducing us to the Dream of the Third Attention, the Master, and the role of the Seer. This is the Christ Consciousness, our True Creation. Let’s look at the description of this state of being.
This is the Resurrection, the awakening to our True Reality. Belief in the World no longer is our truth. What is of value is what enables you to Love. This is knowing of God’s Presence, always; That You are, and God is! A search for God is no longer necessary; for you Know God Is All in All:
- You look with Humility, for you know you are One with everyone; that all are of One Consciousness. Love is all that extends from you. There is nothing else for you to do, but listen and create.
- You recognize living now is a process of unlearning what you have told yourself. Truth has shown you all your lies, your stories are nothing, they are mistakes.
- Our Will, our Intent, is One with God. As God created us through God’s extension, we create through our extension.
- There is no longer a focus on your self. There’s no need to find out who you are, or what your are to do. Instead, you know you’ll have all the answers you need. You cannot be a Seer when you are focused on your story.
- Ultimately, that “Tyrant” within you becomes your ally. Your entire mind is now fully in synch with your Spirit, the Real You. Your mind becomes the useful, powerful tool, it was created to be.
Please hold to this as the message don Miguel is pointing us to. Your life here is intended to enable you re-member; to re-mind; to resurrect your Wholeness, our Oneness with God and all of God’s Creation.
Each of the 5 Agreements are designed to point you in this direction, by turning within. They are disciplines we use to detract from the dream we have made and attempt to further our ego-based state of mind. For it is limited, it dwells and furthers a state of uncertainty and doubt, and it is based on fear, not love. Attainment of the role of a Seer, or awakening to your Christ Consciousness is attained through these practices.
There is one topic in these last chapters that don Miguel has touched on that I’d like to focus on. That is the topic of Judgment.
We have come to rely on judgment as our most necessary tool. Our upbringing has been focused on the training of our ability to judge, and we’ve become proficient about its use. Yet consider what happens within the judgment process. We see a situation: something happening that we need to react to; someone behaving or expressing themselves in a manner, and we believe it will impact us in some way, thus we need to react.
Whatever the issue is, the judgment we are making is relying on the same “virtual knowledge” that has developed the stories through which we have told ourselves. This is the lies, the stories we have told ourselves that we don’t question, and thus see the world through our dreams. Thus, the judgments we make are providing the same perspective that we have been used to using; it provides results, reactions consistent with the thought system we have relied on.
NO WONDER OUR LIFE DOESN’T CHANGE! No wonder we continue to see life in the “same old perspective.” It is being derived from the story you have been telling yourself, that you have accepted and not questioned. Bless your heart, how could you judge something in any different manner?
Has this judgment worked for you? If you accept we are here to love, to know of our Oneness, has your judgment forwarded this direction, this cause for you? Or has it furthered your separation, your protection of your story, your idea of what you need to do to “survive” in the world.
Let’s pause for a moment. I’d ask you to take a moment now, and consider “THE LAST JUDGMENT,” and what it means to you. We’ve been raised with the idea God will hold us accountable at Judgment day, and our eternal life results from that judgment. Can you recall your experience of this idea? Does it bring discomfort up for you?
What a sense of hell that has derived for us! How fearful can that leave us in our perspective of God! Yet recognize this: you think of God’s judgment of you based on the story you have told yourself, based on the belief of who you think you are. And where was that story derived? That same ego based thought system we have now learned to question. Through our teachings , we’ve told ourselves we need to be fearful. AND THIS IS THE BIGGEST LIE WE’VE BEEN STUCK WITH!
God knows you as God Created you- the perfect extension of God; the truth of who we truly are now, who we always have been, and who we always will be. God, knowing you as perfection has no need for judgment. Don Miguel has stated this, God, knowing only of perfection KNOWS YOUR TRUE REALITY. In A Course In Miracles, we learn JUDGMENT IS NOT AN ATTRIBUTE OF GOD! God, knowing only of perfection, has no need to judge at all!
Consider the term, “The Last Judgment,” literally. THE LAST JUDGMENT IS THE LAST TIME YOU HAVE A JUDGMENT THOUGHT OF ANYTHING! Of a situation, of another person, and most importantly, of Yourself! The last judgment is the end of our relying on the judgment process, which we’ve never been able to use effectively anyway. Instead, we have reached a state where we know with the full Knowledge of God. No Judgment is necessary; for Knowing Truth is all that is.
Further, the last judgment you will realize is already imbedded in the deepest truth of who you are: the last judgment is that you are the complete whole extension of God; you are One with God and all of God’s creations! No other judgment is possible, because it would be a lie!
My beloved friends, I hope you can see this gift, this truth, and know this is the journey don Miguel is pointing us to. Knowing how much you are loved, and all that is unfolding for you. Let that sink within you, and you can begin to get the sense of the value of these teachings for you. And it is my wish that you are able to join me in seeing you in that light, and seeing
everyone you meet in that light as well. This is the role of the SEER as don Miguel is directing us.
